where would i get a throttle cable (pull) for a 3TJ?

As title need a throttle cable must be the pull 1. think mine has some sort of kink in it as when you hold the throttle straight/ inline with the bike the throttle works really well and quick but when put in postion it isnt very quick at all.

Genuine Yamaha from Fowlers or a pattern from Wemoto

Check it isn't the bar end rubbing against the twist grip rubber

no defo nothing 2 do with the bar or bar ends i have small nylon ones on that just push into the clip ons aswell. as said when u hold the throttle inline with the bike so that the cables are 100% straight with no bends it works great but one you start 2 move it towards the postion of the clip on it starts 2 slow doen/stick so must be a kink some where in the (pull) cable.

finally found it today, unfortunately it's knackered. sorry

for my hybrid, i bought a universal kit from Venhills, it works very well, with both push and pull.

any idea on the price of it? also dose it come with the twist grip and throttle housing or do you just use your orignal item?

I'm sure they'll be able to supply half the kit if you only need the pull cable, give them a call.

As for twist grip & housing, i used my original one, although they do have a complete kit with fast action throttle. If you need a new twist grip & housing let me know, i've got a spare in the garage, i'll send it over for the postage.
