Juddering while accelerating.
This problem is driving me insane. When accelerating there is a momentary judder, no more than half a second, it never happens while cruising or slowing, its really spoiling the bike for me. So far I have changed the carbs, cdi, plugs and filters, but still he problem persists unchanged. oh and it does not occur if you rev the bike in neutral.
Am I missing something obvious? The only thing I can think of is that this is something electrical.
Any help appreciated, its an NC23.

Re: Juddering while accelerating.
Which gear?
Sounds similar to how mine felt when 5th gear wasn't engaging properly. Required a strip and replace a couple of gears and a selector fork.

^^^^this was also my first thought, does it almost feel like a surge or like its jumped a tooth on a sprocket?greggo wrote:Which gear?

Re: Juddering while accelerating.
Thanks for the replies, it happens in all gears, regardless of engine temp. it is more like a very short surge I guess.

Re: Juddering while accelerating.
may be a long shot but look for a tight spot on the chain.

Re: Juddering while accelerating.
Are there any strange noises.
Is it always at the same revs or throttle position?
Might be worth checking the wheel bearings.

Are you sure it's all gears?
Does it happen at the same revs everytime?

Clutch judder ?
Maybe time for a workshop or dyno.
