Rich Running advise needed
My GK76A seems to still soot up the exhaust when running.
the bike will pull from stand still no bogging down and carrys on to well over 100mph.
* Carbs Cleaned
* Changed O-ring with vition
* Changed diaphrams
* balanced carbs
* mixture screws set to 1.5x out
* idles well
* Scorpion Rear Race Can
Choke required to start the bike unless its a very hot day
is the sooting normal??

Have you changed the airfilter or had any dyno time. Is it smoking or did you just put the new exhaust on and it has sooted up?

Re: Rich Running advise needed
ok well i bought these carbs off ebay and the bloke said they was dyno jetted.
Last time i had a dyno run the man said 64bhp was good the only thing he said was the fuelling went lean when flat out but not to worry as was not racing it he never mentioned the sooty exhaust
Checked needle height and they are a low as they go.
flot height was correct according to tonysleeps guide
when reved with my hand near the exhaust i get no black stuff on my hands nor any smoke or backfires out the exhaust.

Soot is normal, if it's smoking or not revving cleanly, it's running rich.
