NC30 Oil Filter - Will this fit?
Hi,
I tried to buy an oil filter from honda today. But they told me that they didn't do 15010-MW0-000 any more and he told me the following part would fit although its a smaller filter 15410-MCJ-505.
Is this ok to use?
Thanks

Probably - I use a filter for a fazer on my NC30 as it is stumpy and I need the clearance.
The screw on section and the footprint of it on your sump should be the same..

Yeah a honda dealer told me that they have changed the size of these filters recently (and part number).

Hi, Guys ('n' Gals!),
This part number changed some while ago, I've used three so far and I have had no trouble, and being smaller, find they're a tad easier to wangle into place.
Mind you, as good or bad as other makes or alternatives may be, and no matter how much cheaper, I never use other than O.E filters on anything.
I refuse to risk my engines to find out they're no good !!
At less than a tenner including a new washer, is it really worth it?

15410MCJ505 is the correct part #, it superceeds 15410MCJ003 and 15410MCJ000
As well as fitting the NC2x's/3x's it fits.
