nc30 brakes and front wheel upgrades.
hiya i tryin to sort out my nc30 to race next year and have been told that the sp1 calipers and master cylinder will fit straight onto my standard forks...is this correct???? also i was told that the cbr 400 3 spoke front wheel and discs will also fit straight in and with the sp1 calipers. has any one done this? also any other advice on weight saving and handling would be a great help.
cheers jamie

sp1 / fireblade calipers will fit straight on but you need to buy some brackets as the mounts are different. rick oliver is your man. not sure on the cbr 400 wheel though...

nice 1 thanx, the front wheel idea was purely for lowering weight as a set of dymags are a lil bit on the expensive side!! not that i think it would make a huge difference.

no need to change the calipers on the nc30, they are 4pots anyway ? , just fit some bendix road/race pads , i fitted them in my track bike and they transformed the brakes from the ebc pads that were fitted before , twice the bite and half as mutch leaver presure needed ,best mod i ever done and no more arm pump .

NC23 wheel goes straight in, and saves a bit of weight too.
