anyone suggest good road/race tyres

currently racing an nc 23 and my dunlop sportmax are shot so need new rubber. My mate runs pirelli 's on his nc29 and have notice there is alot more camber on those tyres, so if anyone can suggest a good tyre combo to try or am i best sticking to dunlop sportmax. i am running the original 18" rear wheel.

Assuming the Tri Arm - fit Dunlop Alpha 10s every time if on the original 18 inch rear - £160 the pair all in delivered from me.

Or swap to an NC29 rear wheel complete assembly and fit the Pirelli Diablos - but they are up to £100 a pair more expensive.

Or a BT090 for a slightly longer lasting tyre.

@ Graeme - are the alpha 10s comparable in grip to the Dragon or Diablo Supercorsa?

I had a quote for more dunlops at 185 for the pair, so will fefinately give these alpha 10's a go.
