Re: 3EN2 engine number
That wouldn't work without a lot of engineering because the tensioner blade runs are completely different. Nice idea though. I'm going to test-fit it and see exactly how much room there is(n't). I might get away with mounting it at a different attitude, making ned inlet runners and a custom airbox from ally or something.

You'd need to carefull with the oil pick up.
So ... just the tensioner blades then .... ? .... turn the barrels too ???

Re: 3EN2 engine number
Can't do that coz the tensioner has to be on the slack side of any camchain or it puts the cam timing out.
Right, here's where I'm at! The engine fits (nicely) but the carbs poke out the top. I'm going to fabricate some new inlet runners and try to find some side-draught carbs. It fits so nicely in fact that it acts as a stressed member between the top & bottom front suspension cross-members (which are only bolted to fibreglass) and the frame rails. Fitting this engine should stiffen up the whole front of the vehicle.

Re: 3EN2 engine number
Sounds like a good engine for the car then ... just need the carb mounts done.
