running problem after being flooded

i flooded my bike a few days ago and now its not running so well.its lost its punch and once warm doesnt pull so well in any gear until around 6-7k.just gone flat.the plugs are about a year or more so could really do with changing but i just wanted to make sure it couldnt be something else.its been fine till then no settings altered carbs recently cleaned and balance.filters ok.its a 1992 nc30 vfr 400 r

might be worth getting the plugs out and checking the clearences and cleaning them..

is there anything else that could cause similar symptoms, knowing my luck it wont be that simple!lol

Many people inc me have killed a set of plugs in our V4's by flooding them, atleast your plugs wasnt brand new :whistle:

plugs are the cure, tick overs gone up by 500rpm and started on the button with new plugs well chuffed, cost me £60 though :(
