Looking for some setup advise Please!!!
Before i start i know you lot have properly answered these sort of questions over and over again and i apologize for asking again, but i havent got time to search threw pages of posts for answerers.
I currently have a 91- VFR which i am really looking to improve mid-range response and mid-range acceleration, im not to bothered about losing out on top end speed to much. i have the usual vfr mid range flat spot which i have never been able to get rid of even with playing with the carbs,
at the moment i am running or using:
an after market exhaust system mid-section with a moto gp style end can,
Ram air intake on the vfr carbs
drilled 2.5mm holes
fuel tap mod (never had a problem with it for over 3 years now)
14/40 520 chain & sprocket setup
Of the top of my head i have got 130ish jets in the carbs which as an overall response seems fine and on the last dyno was pushing 63bhp, but as mentioned above i really want a little more mid-range so has anyone got a good setup for using: RVF carbs with HRC replica carb kit and also the ignition box with HRC replica program which i am now about to play with, i see some people are running like 140+ jets but to me that seems a little to large but i might be completely wrong, so any advice would be very appreciated.
Thanks
