Nc30 carb rubbers

Post by Keysie »

Can anyone tell me how the carb rubbers fit ie does the wee arrow on the rubber point to the front of the bike on the front cylinders and point to the rear on the rear cylinders as this is what the haynes says (I think) but i seem to be getting better results with them pointing into the V

Sure says "up" on the top of them dooes it not?
This may only be on the RVF tho.
Sure should be pointed up/outward not into the v.

Trial fitting them to the Carbs should solve this problem for you.
The side of the Inlet Rubbers that Says 'Carburettor Up' on it has two cut-out sections in the top of it, which you will notice, when fitted to the carbs, actually fit around the Casting/Casing on the carburettor.
The Smaller Cutout, fits topside and facing out of the center.

Hope this helps..
