hey there. Half way through doing my valve clearences on my rvf and my inlet valves are only at 0.08 so i need some new shims. anyone know the best place to get them from and what sizes you can get them in cheers.

I used this place when doing mine last week and they were great. Sizes are listed on the site.

heres some a bit cheaper off ebay. Its the 7.48mm diameter ones you need. Luckily i have a full hotcams shim kit from when i had a crf250 motocrosser. The selection came in very handy when i rebuilt the neads recently on my project

Rick oliver on here does a shim exchange at £2 a shim and send him your old ones. I emailed rick and shims arrived in next days post.. Doesn't get better than that...

I have just checked my valve clearances and 10 need changing. Has anyone got Rick Olivers number and is he still doing the shim exchange?

You will find Rick oliver in the members list and you can email him from there. did mine last week and had new shims within two days. he charges 2 pound a shim... :up:
