spares & tools
Hi all.
(for swmbo's nc30 - 1993 "n" model
I'm in need of a few bits & pieces - can anyone help me find them, please......
rocker cover gaskets (frt & rr) - i got a "cheap" gasket set which only included sump & both side casings
spark plug socket - I have 5 or 6 in the toolchest, all are too big. Halfords, local toolshop & 2 dealers gave blank looks when I asked.
clutch centre nut (castellated jobby)
clutch centre nut socket - someone told me they're only available from Mr Honda & cost a fortune. Alternatively, could i "make" one from steel tubing with a grinder ????
...... oh, on the subject of clutch - the bite point was just where the lever meets the handlebar rubber. new cable made no difference, so I'm putting a whole (nearly)new one in (everything from the basket outwards). if that doesn't fix it what else could be wrong with it????
Ta for your help-
Gary
