which is the best exhaust
Having just bought my first RVF 400 a couple of months back have been looking at various websites to look for a new exhaust silencer the one i have currently is the art silencer which has a sweet note and get compliments where ever i go.
But it has been shortened and it doesn't look right,
from the experience from you on the forum which do you think is the best exhaust for sound and performance i know it's all self preference but welcome to any experience.

In my opinion...a can is just a can. They are all much of a muchness.
I found that an ART on my 30 on std pipes was a decent sound. Had a Quill..it was bobbins.
It is subjective though so you might have like the Quill...
Have a look in the Exhaust thread...there are cans in there to scope out..get one that looks nice and is light...that's the plan!

I really like the Tyga carbon can. It's time specific for 1994 and Tyga makes quality components. Their full system with the shotgun pipes is really nice, but cost an arm, a leg and another arm.

Re: which is the best exhaust
Been looking at the full system + exhaust from tyga and it looks the biz.
If fitted would there be any other work needed to be done the the carb's jet's etc not that i would be able to do it but i am fortunate have some peole around with years of bike's which i'm sure they would help.
Not really sure if i will eventually buy a bigger bike because all the riding i do to my ability and having young children the RVF 400 i have is enough for me
but if i can squeeze a coulple of more BHP with a new system, exhaust and cdi it would help me keep closer to the people i ride with
just completed my first long tour of the north of scotland and to say it was a eye opener is an understatment but in the 2 days we were away 800 miles was a bit long
