Thank you, but being non technical I dont know if it would be good or bad, but anyway can you wrap it up and post it to me, I will put a cheque in the post, as they say.
I fancey an RC45, but it may be a bit quick for me these days, the NC30 is such a super bike to ride, I know the throttle works both ways , but never when I need it most.

I've owned both and to be honest they are both cracking machines and both lots of fun. I always hankered after the gorgeous NC35 and finally got one but had to pay top dollar. Well impressed with the build quality of both bikes. I believe3 if you paid a lo0t for the NC30 then maybe you wouldn't re-coup that outlay if you ever sold her on...but you'll see virtually no depreciation on the NC35.
Horses for courses...obviously there are some right dogs out there 'modded' by youngsters who havn't a feckin' clue as to doing the job properly....and this probably applies to NC30's more than the more expensive NC35.
Get a properly set up NC30 ( load of bollicks as to whether it is an import or UK spec ) and you'll have an absolute ball as there are some beauties on this site.
Proper spec cosmetics and as near ( or get the parts off the seller ) to standard as possible is what I'd recommend. To heavy a tuning is purely for the race track as bottom end will be sacrificed for top end speed etc etc.

I have a well set up standard NC30, but I am always looking for a better bike,

Tell you what dave, send me a nice RC45 and i will send you my RC30 and UK NC30 to keep it company
I know the 30 is deemed by many as the bike to have, but am sure a 45 would make a better day to day road bike.

A standard 45 is a better road bike than the standard 30, but it is easy to modify the 30 to become an exciting if not practical road bike.
If I had a 45 I might swap for a uk nc and rc, but I dont, yet, but then again I would probably want to keep them all.

It's weird, when I had my first NC30, I lusted over an RVF. However, when I owned an RVF, I missed the NC30. So now I kinda have a mix of both, but the thought of owning an additional stock RVF keeps re-surfacing.

to me, the 35 looks a bit more squeeky clean and tidy, the 30 looks much more agressive and is easier to play about with, mechanical wise. the 35 is suppose to have a little more torque and the handlebars are a little higher for comfort. although i do prefer the 30 overall (not just cos ive got one) i do like the idea of slightly raised bars and love the 35 seat cowell. i think rick actually has the slightly higher bar mod anyway.
