No spark
Hi
Went for ride on tuesday night everything was fine, next morning moved the bike to give it a clean started it and it cut out, so took carbs out cleaned everything then noticed no sparks. Dad tried it later that night it started for a few seconds and cut out again, now nothing. All fuses are fine any help you be appreciated
Ps. Its NC30

Re: No spark
Thats almost certainly flooded or carbon caked plugs.. Take the rear two out and clean them of all carbon deposits then check gap (0.6mm), should run fine then.. The bikes prob running rich and this may keep happening until you rejet to correct mixture

Re: No spark
Got all new plugs and still nothing happening, could it be the cdi? Or Pulse Generator?

Re: No spark
Haynes suggests the following for no/weak spark:
engine kill switch off (duh wtf)
Battery voltage low, make sure its fully charged and generating at least 12.5V
Earth connection, make sure its clean and solid, its the connection from neg batter lead to frame.
Spark plugs leads, another guy on here had a rusted thru connection on one coil, test that theyr conducting by testing resistance of primary coil, and then secondary coil which is side that 2 plugs are connected to. You can also check coils getting power by doin voltage check on low voltage side, terminal to frame should read 12V.
CDI faulty like you suggest, they dont give a test procedure so maybe take it to honda
Pulse generator, test resistance betw white/yellow & yellow, white/blue & blue wires by disconnecting the plug connection at the harness, should be 450 - 550ohms
See if any of this helps, if not the above id say its a poor connection somewhere in killswitch circuit
