Cheepest weight saving modds

I don't really think that this was done for weigth saving, because all the easy and more worthwhile savings hasn't been done (rearsets, brakedisc, sprocket and chain, torque arm connecting point and sprocketcover). It's either done to be special (most likely) or to have more swingarm flex (not so likely), the latter could make sense since the most singlesided swingarms are prone to having to much side to side stiffness compared to a doublesided arm. But I do think him or her is just a fearless tw.. with poor understanding of proper engineering.

havent dropped mine yet (thats 2 td's so far) touch wood,

and my race fairings didnt cost me much (thanks to a very helpful forum member and my sponsors for making them look good) so im not too worried if I do drop it, its just the HRC rearsets i dont wana mess up

yep, not cash sponsorship but people people offering a service for free in exchange for their co name on my bike, were lining up a few more but running out of space on the bike lol

Got a service done the other day for the first time since buying the bike and the mechanic told me a few very interesting things!
As he had to take off the fairing he noticed that the rear sub-frame had been cut to allow the new tiger kit to fit the bike AND that the new fairing was heaps lighter.
He thinks that has saved me 6 kilos! Nice.

Bike is running like a dream too.
