Re: No lowbeam ???
I dont have standard head lights on my nc30, but I have also just had the same problem, and although both the filaments seemed ok on the bulb when I checked the bulb with a voltmetre my low beam filament had actually burnt out, so simply try a new bulb . . .

Cheers for the reply shaun 1988 . Will give it a try , think this is going to be a process of elimination time . The bulbs seemed fine but thats the 1st cheapest option .

Re: No lowbeam ???
that may be the case, but because both have went at the same time i would maybe be looking at the switchgear.if the bike does not have the low beam relay the switchgear may have burnt out.an easy way to check this is to remove the block connector that comes from the switchgear and bridge two connections on the connector that goes to the lights with the ignition on.if the lights work then then you know for sure it's the switchgear.

Re: No lowbeam ???
It'll probably be what Williams said.
Especially if yours is a JDM NC30 and your running H4's in it.
The JDM 30 has 35watt bulbs as opposed to 55watt H4's.
The UK 30 has a relay fitted to drive the extra power, on the Japanese bike it runs straight thru the switch.
So without modding it and putting higher power bulbs in it is easy to burn out the switch contacts.
Just take the switch apart and have a look if its burnt away.
Then if it is search for low beam relay mod and you'll see how to retro-fit a new relay onto it to stop it happening again :)
