Replacement Engine Req'd

Hi all, i'm looking for a replacement engine for my 1992 FZR400RR 3TJ, have looked around but can only find engines for 1989 and earlier models, does anyone know if the earlier model engine will fit or has anyone got an engine for sale at a reasonable price?

the mounting on the earlier ones is different on the top mounts, the tj ones are in different positions, i think you can put a tj head onto an earlier one to give the correct mounts but dont quote me on it!!

I have one that I offered Oolit but logistics are difficult, so it may or may not happen. Where are you located?

Am looking to pay up to £150 inc p&p but would consider collecting in person, I'm on the south coast in a place called Lancing (West Sussex) got any history on the egine? i.e mileage, year etc... thanks

You will be lucky to get one for less than 300 mid race season.
