Opinion...how much to ask for, NC23
Hi guys,
I have a white NC23, have had various problems with, all now sorted.....but have decided that its probably the wrong bike for me (as I have no mechanical ability)....think I will stick to my accountancy!
So here goes;
CBR400 NC23 Tri-arm, 47500km, E-Reg.
Body work in very good condition for age, no cracks etc.
New (reconditioned) radiator only 500 miles ago. Just had the dust seals done on breaks, had the thermostat switches sensors etc changed about 600 miles ago. Things that the bike needs;
1. Front break pads
2. Rear Tyre (although legal...only just!).
3. Front break leaver (the bit at the end that makes the break light work bust off, so have disconnected the switch at the mo).
4. I would change sprockets / chain as they have seen better days (but are safe to ride).
It will come with a remote start alarm (put it on there to be a tosser basically - haven't used it for ages), also comes with an optimax charger all set-up.
Bike is capable of 120 easily (*cough*....obviously I wouldn't ride so irresponsibly! :D )
So really nice starter bike, or track day bike. Getting a 600 Bandit sorted for next week all being well - more than welcome to come have a view and do some type kicking, its based in Nuneaton......
would be really interested in hearing what sort of price range you think for the bike!?
Rob.

£1000 - £1200. Lot of bikes on offer for that price range. So you may have to take offers for a bit less

really???....I've put it on ebay for £800....its what I brought it for,
to be honest, I would accept around £600 for it!.....but can understand why you would want more for them cos' they are Lurvly bikes! :)
anyway if anyone wants to have a look at buying it, you can come round and do a test ride!

Sometimes going too cheap doesnt work.
If you get more than you paid for it, great.
You will only get what someone is willing to pay for it.
Triarms are going up in value comapared to most 400's supposedly

good clean and tidy triarms usually go for £1000-£1200 like miki said, but if the bike is really good nick some 1 may pay more.
some ppl still prefer the NC29 over the 23 as its newer and some ppl want the newest bike they can for there money.
i prefer the NC23 styling :D

Slight thread hijack. Just out of interest, what do you guys think the value of a minter NC23 would be? Its a black '88 'E' plate with the Hurricane markings. It's completely standard bar HEL brake lines. The bike has no damage and has all original plastics. The original tool kit is present and its done 34,000km.
