hmmm cheap trickery

Post by tanuki »

I was at Cadwell on Monday and saw a chap on an NC30 so wandered over to have a chat as you do...

Got chatting about his bike after noticing his full Ethos and he informs me he bought the bike on E ghey for £795

Doesnt sound that cheap for an e ghey trackbike with a full Ethos so I enquired more it had HRC F3 upper and lower rads, a real HRC carb tray and full F3 spec carbs with the rubber bellmouth things the lot, HRC CDI, HRC loom, full Ethos.

granted it was a bit scabby all in all but the rads are worth £1000 alone.

that is cheap trickery

and you post should have finished with
" so before i leave him i gave him a jolly good kick in the nuts and ran away with his bike,i know my wee irish will have such a bone for this bike, but i'll just hang on to the rads"

did you see said bike in action bill ?
did it go well ?

surely there should be more than just 1 or 2 full F3 yokes knocking about or is it a case of the owners just don't know what they have ?
It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

Given the age of the bikes and the amount of kit parts that are still around in Japan, it's fair to say that they would have been about as common as most kitted 600's in Japan.

Did it have HRC spark plugs? ;)
