Carb identification

Post by Beemerboy »

Hi guys.
I have the option to purchase what I think is the VVT model, but the carbs are
shot. I can pick up a set of used carbs, but am not sure if they are the right
ones for this model.
The bike I want to buy is a GK75A with Mikuni carbs. The replacement carbs
are Keihins apparently off the standard model.
Am I correct in assumning the GK75A is the VVT ?
Will the Keihin carbs work.
Here is a pic of the bike I want to buy in case it helps.

Hi BB,
The bike is not a VV, the VV has red cylinder top and red discs and ther's sensors on the end of the cams. Having had a bump its had new plastics and paint. If the fairing is original fitment it would be a 'limited' that came with the nosecone but should be in two tone paint. All are 75's so gsf400m, gsf400mV, gsf400m limited etc. Take a look below.

Regards carbs they should be BST33/32 mikuni bepending on model. Hope this helps.
Chris.

Thanks for that Chris, much appreciated.
Dunno where the Keihin bit comes into it,
possibly someone fitted them as replacement
for OEM. Not being VVT makes the decision
easier, now I just need to make the price
more attractive for me...
