fork paint
anyone know of a car touch up colour thats close to the gunmetal/black on the later type nc30 forks

I've gone for ford graphite grey, painting later so I'll let you know how it turns out !

Yup, Ford Graphite Grey is the closest match. Funnily enough, I recently painted the fork bottoms on the new forks in that colour.

that'll do the job. when i did mine, i was a silly bollox and used halfrods rattle can ford graphite silver and some simonez lacquer. they didnt mix well and made a balls of it. so stick with like with like is my advice.

thanks guys , not repainting just a touch up pen built a set of later forks outa two sets using the best parts of both sets new bushes seals etc lowers good bar a few small stone chips on one lower not bad enough to warrant powdercoat/respray seems crazy but been watching passing cars lookin for a match close to original finish lol , will give that colour a go
