The fuel tank ... it has a boss welded onto the bottom and a long bolt through it that squeezes the frame togetherCould, you also tell me,show me, what fits between the frame rails behind the the petrol tank,is it a seat brkt, tank brkt,it's held on with 2 6mm bolts.thank's in advance.

Re: hybrid with r6 shock.
Evilchicken0,you say it's a long bolt but the frame is threaded both sides.

Re: hybrid with r6 shock.
I think the last owner of the frame must have done some mods on the frame judging by the fact they seem to have tapped out all the holes!
Just a long bolt on both of mine too!

Cheers m8,just what i wanted to see on the tank.
But the measurementi was hoping to get was as in photo below.
Also, one other thing is the measurement, eye to eye of your r6 shock when fitted no rider on board.
thanks again.

Re: hybrid with r6 shock.
Sorry for delay in reply. The bolt hole you have pointed out in the last drawing is actually the rear subframe top mount. All the same i measured that to the floor. It measured 715mm to the centre of the bolt.
I have a spare standard 400rr shock lying around the garage, when i locate it i will measure the length of it for you!
Hope this helps, Tim

Re: hybrid with r6 shock.
thank's for that one tim,i can get on a bit with the nc swingarm conversion,
the shock measurment has got to be the r6 shock, and when fitted to the bike, again no rider just the weight of the bike, and from mounting eye to eye,no extention piece
