Tacho not working

Post by Harreh »

Hi guys,

All of a sudden my tacho stopped working, same time a lot of my dash bulbs went, I replaced most of the dash bulbs but I'm still having issues with the tacho, all the wiring is in check and the bike rides fine.

Is there anyway I can test the tacho?

Check out all of the bike's earths: 1 from the negative battery terminal to the frame, and also one of the coils to the frame.

The tacho also has an earth wire screwed to the back of it with a tiny bolt, check that out also.
