is the "special" tool realy necessary? as im rebuilding my bike and ordering all my parts from david silver spaires and will get 1 now if i need it.

Yes, miles more useful than uing a drift or screwdriver.

yeh drift and screw driver will just nacker ur hub adjuster, iv just had to file mine back into shape
