NC23 jumping in and out of 6th?

All other gears are fine, just when its in 6th you give it throttle it jumps out then catches again when you throttle off

Is it a selector spring?

from looking at other posts seems to be worn dog gear on 6th? but have only found cases of this happening on nc29s?

apparently its due to a washer thats worn on the gear shaft or summin..it doesnt put enuff pressure on the gear to keep it in...its happened to 2 gearboxes of mine thru racing...1 is about to be rebuilt so i will have more info in it as it comes to hand.
basicly its an engine out and pull apart job no matter what way you look at it...so at the same time spend some cash and fit new bearings n rings so u know when it goes togeather it will be fresh for you
