hrc quick action throttle..from sp1
ive picked up an hrc quick action throttle for an sp1 very cheap...its not the full kit..just the new throttle.
im wondering if i could fit it to my nc30?
and if it does fit...will i need to chnge my throttle cables due to cam being a different size?....im assuming the hrc ones rick oliver sells for the nc30 dont require different types of throttle cables??
thanks

Re: hrc quick action throttle..from sp1
for those of you that might be interested...which doesnt see anyone at all! lol.....
when comparing the sp1 quick action throttle to my original nc30 throttle...the cam on the sp1 throttle has a larger diametre of around 4mm....not sure what the nc30 q.a. throttle diametre compares to with a standard nc30 throttle??
so will an extra 4mm in diametre make much difference??
the only problem i can see is that the cam width on a standard nc30 throttle is about 3mm wider so the sp1 throttle moved from side to side more inside the throttle housing...wondering if i could use a spacer to take up the slack?
many thanks

I am interested...QA throttles are good..
Got any pics of the fit?
4mm on a throttle cable is a hell of a lot...

4mm of circumference definitely would be, but I would think 4mm extra diameter will work just fine?

ive just been to my friends house who has an sp1....we took the throttle housing apart....the width of the cam is the same as the nc30...which means that the cam on the quick throttle would also be smaller on the sp1..hmm?

i just got me nsr250 throttle which has a quicker action than the one on the nc30, got both throttle cables for nc and nrs which should i use?
also if it worth using both cables or junking the return cable, less weight and all lol
