Retighten Head Bolts?
Hi Gents, i recall reading another thread where someone mentioned it advisable to retighten head bolts after a rebuild after x number of k's? Is this necessary?

Some 1,000 miles on, I would say No, it's not necessary, but whether its advisable I'm not going to comment!

Yeah the bolts are torqued and once the head gaskets settled seems no point in disturbing it again... Still smoking slightly but havent had a chance to do more that a couple kays as all the legal items are still off and bending up a new exhaust system next week.. Im hopefull tho after all that work, very hopefull!
