Quick Water pump question

need to take it off to see if its where the coolant leak is coming from on the track nc30.

its on the abba stand at mo. i take it, oil wont come pishing out from behind on removal so i can check the slippery bugger?

intend to do it after i sort out the valve clearances tomorrow, lol again :oops:

The oil level in the sump should be below the water pump with the bike upright, but have a catch tray under there anyway, just in case...!

somone posted in a thread I wrote on the other day as when I took mine out a load of oil came out with it, to tilt the bike backwards so the oil can't come out if your unsure :-)

Or just drain it to be safe lol.

cheers. will just get the drain tray beneath it just in case. its stuck on the abba stand with no rear wheel on as its off for powdercoating, so no tilting, but a bit of praying maybe :lol:
