anybody here swapped a bros400 engine for a 650? help needed
hi all,
i have a bros 400 and the gearbox is dead(only 2 gears left) i priced getting it repaired and it will cost as much as getting the engine replaced.
i have been offered a 650 engine which i think i will go for,
as far as i know the 650 should fit without any adjustments to frame etc. is that correct?
also has anybody done this before?
i just want to know if i would need to change any other parts like carbs, exaust downpipe etc.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
cheers

cant say for sure but thought the 4 is a sleeved down barrewl of the 650 so you need to have a good luck on other sites especially america as the hawk version (same thing)is well known over there.might need carbs adjusting or swopping but not much more.will be well worth doing for the extra torque with no extra weight being added.
