nc35 track fairing onto a nc30?

Post by chrisja2 »

OK ive obtained a cheap nc35 track fairing. On loosely fitting onto the bike the nose cone mirror fixings are way off. Has anyone done this conversion before, will a nc35 brace help? If so if anyone has a nc35 old screen brace let me know. Condition not too important!

You will need clock bracket and mirror bracket to do a propper job, and rear sub frame if doing seat unit as well, not a hard job but can work out quite dear to do.

The rear ends sorted thanks Aly, so is the clock bracket off a 35 a tad shorter then? I could always cut and re weld the mirror stay i suppose.

The fixing in the nose cone is about 3 inch higher up from memory. Get some nice ally ones from Rick O and do the job proper!! ;)

Nice ally subframe too.............

I'd like to see the fitment of the RVF fairing to NC30 as you mention in differences, 3 inch to nose cone etc. Do you have any pics available?

The front nc30 subframe just needs a minor add on to get it to line up with the nc35 fairing. You should use this bolt to mount it!

The whole nc35 fairing goes onto nc30's pretty easily (all much of a muchness to me, no major mods needed), there are some links to pics in my profile.
