3en1 Master Cylinder .....

Post by fredjee »

Late last night while stripping the front master cylinder for resto ( powdercoating ) I pushed a screwdriver through the sight glass ( oil level window ) ...... Looks like its plastic not glass as i'd thought

Can I get a replacement or is the project dead in the water .....

you can use pretty much any master cylinder, my race 3en1 one runs a gs 500 and the 3tj i just got for the road has an r1 brembo on it! if you want to keep it original try fowlers they may have the bit listed as a part you can get separately!

The chances you can get just that part is remote, but I'd just fit a different master. If you want the same moulded in type try the early Fazer 600

Thanks for the replys .....

I know any master cylinder will fit but ain't got cash just to throw at the project !!!
Was just trying to tidy up what I'd already got when i destroyed the window
I've noticed someone on the yamaha rd forum does replacement glass for the 350 master cylinder for a few £££ so might give that a go 8-)
