NC 31 Super 4 Cam Chain ?
Sorry to be so ignorant but does the NC31 have chain driven camshaft or gear driven ? If chain, do they ever go wrong or need adjudstnent like te original late 70's CB400F ?
I've got a CB400SF and it's a lovely little bike but because of the lack of manual I can't envisage the inside of the engine like you can with a Haynes.
Thanks to anyone who reads this and thanks for any info. Cheers
Alan

They're chain driven, and there's a tensioner that shouldn't need any manual adjustment IIRC.
I have a translated-from-Russian service manual if you need one. Just pm me your email and I'll send it across.
HTH.

Aye, it's the NC27, CB-1, CB400F, (K,L & M) that have the Gear-Driven Cam Train. And the CBR400R. Very nice it is too
I've never heard of anyone having to change the SF chain, although I guess there must be a service recomendation.
