Finally due to demand....My Race Bike Build Thread

Post by Landy63 »

Right ive finally pulled out my thumb and got some pics together of my race bike. As well as posting results and experiences in this thread, im gonna try post a few how to's as and when i come across problems on the bike.

Im skint so rest assured if it can be done by my very hands rather than a pro, then it will be done.

At the min im in the process of an engine rebuild and also spraying the fairing's so ill have few more pics on how this was done soon.

As for the bike, i cant take credit for its build because i bought it as is, but hopefully my 'wet' bike once built will be of simillar standards ;)

And way enjoy the thread and hopefully it will prove helpfull to anyone wishing to build or race NC30's

Cheers

Thought i recognised it, came very close to buying it too. How much did you pay for it out of interest

yeah its mat's old bike very good bit of kit, I paid £1900 for it and i reckon its worth every penny :D Ive resprayed the fairings now though and ill get some pics up soon, and i reckon not a bad job to say i did it in a garage at work

With the spares that came with it as well, ive nearly enough to build a new bike, minus forks and tank/plastic's. So if anyone is selling a decent set of forks? Give me a bell.

Ive also attached the pic of the cracked crankcase what a piece of :Soap: lol

Take the four screws out of the top of the box and you will find an hrc box hidden inside the outer box is only for protection

Ah rite :? lol im scared of anything electrically so didnt fancy taking the box apart just encase it was just wires inside, the little electrical snakes worrie me, after a failed attempt at a wiring loom for an old NC30 project. so now'a'days i let the pros play with wires :D

cheers though and ill have a look when i can get to the garage, good idea though to stick it in the box.
