Hi Tristan,
welcome to the forum.
You will get a 3TJ workshop manual PDF downloaded from the following link, not the best quality but its perfectly useable...
http://www.rampant-racing.com/FZR400SP_3TJ-ME1_91.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Going by the chassis number it is a SP that you have, the FZR400RRSP EXUP 3TJ2 (1990) chassis numbers start at 141101 and go up to 152000.
It wouldn't be unusual for a 18 year old bike to have had a knock or two in its time, and have had a few bits replaced with RR parts as they are more readily available than SP parts.

I only please one person per day.
Today is not your day, tomorrow isn't looking good either.

Ha ha! :D You guys is funny...
If my Thundercat hadn't just reached the end of a bare-frame complete overhaul and custom respray which I did with my own two hands to my chosen specifications, I'd definitely look at the 600 motor transplant. But the Thundercat is working beautifully as my "keeper" roadbike, and I'd rather not leave it engineless. What's the saying? You don't mend an old wineskin by cutting a patch from a new one.
I've come to the conclusion that it's an SP chassis and bodywork (potentially aftermarket tail plastic replacement, but made to look reasonably correct), with an RR engine and forks donated at some point to keep it on the road. So I'll abandon any sense of needing to keep it "correct" and just make it work good. It's STILL an SP, though, right?
It says it right there on the side fairing: Sport Production. Green valve springs or no...
Coming back to my original theme of the thread, where can I find the OEM part numbers for the various parts I'll need to replace? The only online parts fiches I know of are USA-based, and don't contain the 3TJ model.
