NC23 Radiator
Gents,
I've just discovered today that the rad on my NC23 is leaking quite badly. I've checked and confirmed it is the radiator itself.
I phoned Honda for a price just so I had a benchmark to compare other prices to; £452 for a new rad!
Obviously that's not really a viable option. I am looking for either a second hand one or having mine repaired (if possible).
Firstly, does anybody know if any other bikes share the same radiator or one that will fit without any screwing around and will accept the original temperature sensor? NC23 radiators are not that easy to come by as it happens...
Secondly, can anybody reccommend a person/company to repair my existing radiator. Ideally I would like somewhere in/around Norwich but I am prepared to post it if required.
Oh, I would also consider an alternative new rad to the Honda one if such a thing can be had for reasonable money.
Cheers. :D
Joe.

Re: NC23 Radiator
Thanks for the reply.
I've checked Ebay and there's not really anything suitable on there at the moment. There's a load of NC29 rads but I don't know if these are the same?
I did think of asking Graeme France. I know of a couple of local places around here who repair car radiators so I would assume they will repair bike ones too. I need to find out if it's repairable first though. I shall be ringing them on Monday, just thought I'd ask for advice on here beforehand. :)

Re: NC23 Radiator
In this case better to change to bigger rad to avoid overheating. There was discussion about this on old forum.I've just discovered today that the rad on my NC23 is leaking quite badly.

i don't know if you came across this one......the only down side is the fan mounts have been cut off as it was used for the track.
but no reserve 99p start.....worth a look anyway!!!!
im sure you could doctor the mounts so you could fit the fan on.

I did see that one Will. I suppose It's worth a go if it goes cheap. Ideally, I didn't want to have to fart around with it but it shouldn't be too hard to make some sort of bracket to mount the fan.
I will send Graeme a message and I will make some enquiries about having mine repaired on Monday.
