NC29 with new end can
Hi there!
I recently fitted a new end can to my stock standard NC29 (1994). The bike sounds brilliant, but with the new pipe the bike feels dead at low rpm. Above 4000rpm everything is perfect, but when you start accelerating at any lower rpm's it feels as if the bike doesn't get enough fuel. I can not pull away with a passenger...
The carb settings is standard with the Pilot screw setting at 2 1/4 turns out. Jets are also stock. Out of your experience, what needs adjustment. What settings are you running with after market end cans?
Regards
Karel

Re: NC29 with new end can
it definately sounds like you will have to replace the jets with larger ones.
usually the flat spot is a little higher up the rev range but it is maybe lower down as it is only a end can and not the full system
if the flat spot is not too bad then try running larger jets not much larger than standard

Welcome!
I reckon any 400 with a passenger is crap for pulling away - give the clutch a bit of slip and get revving!
