anyone fitted a set of cbr600rr fairings to an nc30?

i really fancy a new set of fairing for my race bike but really dont fancy paying over £600 on jap4performance for the rc211v kit :(
has anyone managed to fit the cbr600rr faring to an nc30? ive seen it before but im not sure how much work would be involved making brackets and what not?
any ideas??

It may be worth contacting Shokrabi he has done it to his track bike, having seen it in the flesh it fits very well.
Need any used Nc30 parts? Want to fit a Ducati front end to your Nc30? If so give me a shout.

yea thats correct. its being a pig to fit atm because i wasnt happy with how i fitted it the first time round. I'm going to make a mould of it when im done because it fell apart when i came off on track lol.

It is actually a nice job.

Zak the tail broke because a) you fell off it and b) it was basically just fiberglass joint lol

Is that why you want the CF? BTW the answer is no joy to that question so far.

take a look in v4-general under nc30 - fireblade this is my love child, using 03/04 reg 600rr fairings, only very early stages at the mo and takes a lot of forward thinking but well worth it i think, original subframe just cut and re welded to take the rear end nicely. if you hae any question about it just give me a shout.

Check this out cbr600rr fairing and seat take a look at the brackets to get an idea of how to mount it the subframe is well modified

Looks well done, but I'm not sold on that rear wheel. Is it really meant to look like that, or did the guy get distracted halfway through spraying it?
