RVF Front Disc's
Im in need of a new set of front disc's for my RVF as cheap as phisicly possible , any ideas ?
Any1 tried the cheap chinese/jap waveys off Fleabay ? if so oppinions
Also what other bikes/models use the same disc's as the 35 to give me a wider range to search through on ebay as RVF stuff is allways pretty scarse

Re: RVF Front Disc's now with more questions , sry
quick update and another question or 2
I think ive decided to buy a new set of disc's ( unsure of where or what to get yet ) so 1 of my original Q's still stands - Do any other bikes/models use the same disc's ? just to give me a better sellection , and with aload of places having sales a chance to find a decent price.
My next question , i think ive also decided on upgrading the calipers aswell , now i dont want to modify anything at all to fit better brakes do the question is what bikes use calipers that will be a direct swap for the 35's ? from what ive read in other posts SP1's ? any particular model or year bike ? what about CBR's ?
the same question about the rear disc's and calipers , best option to upgrade this aswell ?
sorry for all the questions but ive been down the route with other bikes before when buying stuff that apparently should fit and then doesnt , so id rather find out from the experts first
Thanks in advance for your help guys

Re: RVF Front Disc's
Hi jimmy,
Your best bet would be calipers off a SP1 or all CBR 600 RR non radial (upto 05 i think). Then any disc you can afford.
Id steer clear of them cheap chinese ones if it were me, original honda are more than good enough and probably best, i run ebc prolites on mine but thats purely cos they look good, if i knew what i knew now i would have saved my money and stuck with OE honda. Not saying the ebc's are crap they were just a unnecersary expense.
If you uprate the calipers your need lines to match, eg sp1 fitment at the caliper end and NC35 fitment at the master cylinder end.
As for the rear id stick with standard, give them a service if its not performing as it should

Re: RVF Front Disc's
Jimmy,
Yeah where of a 04 CBR600RR, they are brill, same as SP1 and some blades. I use them on my race bikes, better feel and power than stock. Get them quite often just keep an eye open 4 them.
Got a nearly new set of EBC Golds sat in garage here!!
