What bolt size or part ID fits the unused front engine mount?
Hi all,
I'm midway through fitting some R&G crash protectors to my NC30 but the supplied bolts don't fit the thread of the front engine mount.
To my knowldge these are redundant by default on the NC30 so don't appear on the part drawings.
Any ideas please on the thread size and pitch, or even better a Honda part number that fits?
Cheers :)

*Should* be M10x1.5mm the same as the other engine mounts.

Re: What bolt size or part ID fits the unused front engine mount?
Thanks MadMotoUK, when you wrote this I hoped it was the answer as the bolts in the kit are M10x1.25mm. But I've just checked if I can clear the threads with an M10x1.5mm tap and there was no way that was getting through.
However, opening the tap and die reminded me I have a pitch gauge. Wrapping blutack around a slim screwdriver to get an impression of threads from inside the mount let me measure them as also being 1.25mm pitch.
So the bolts in the kit from R&G should be correct, just the threads might need cleaning out. So an M10x1.25mm tap is on order.
Cheers :)

I thought the R&G Kit needed a spacer and didnlt mount directly on the cases??
There is a drill kit, and a non drill kit isn't there? I have had some of these on an NC before, but can't remember if I had them bolted directly - I sort of recall a long bar that took the loads ?
Was years ago mind..so I might just need the nurses to come and feed me some werthers...
