NC29 heel plates
My NC29 has got the original plastic heel plates and (despite what I've just said in another post about bike-originality) I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the metal heel plates from other Hondas will fit. Obviously not from the NC35 because they are integral with the foot controls. But what about the FireBlade from the 90's. I love the look of their drilled heel plates. Anyone done, or seen, the swop?

Re: NC29 heel plates
Would have thought the early(rrn/rrp)blade heel plates with drilled holes would fit straight on?

Re: NC29 heel plates
Following a brief search I came across several pairs of FireBlade heel plates. Made an offer of £17 on a set, which was accepted and they're on their way.

Re: NC29 heel plates
Nice one, they look a hell of a lot better than the plastic originals i must say even though they aren't exactly standard oe spec they do look like they should have been there from day 1. Can't think of anything else that Honda got wrong................ Well maybe the poop 35/60 watt headlights but that's another story

Re: NC29 heel plates
FireBlade plates now fitted. The left side was a straight swop but the right one fouled the rear brake master cylinder because it doesn't stick out quite as much as the original. I found an online company that makes ally spacers. Paid £4 inc p&p. Fits perfectly now.
