Hi All,
Has anyone tried fitting a tank lock system to there FZR, I would like to fit a smaller tank bag for cash, phone, ID etc.

I have a standard tank lock with a Baglux tank cover and tank bag - it's a bit more than what you describe but Baglux / Bagster do different size bags that fit to the same cover. I guess it depends on size and cost …. you could look at something like a Kushitani thigh bag, a mate has one and loves it

Or a kreiga bum bag … its bigger than a normal bumbag and has a roll down waterproof compartment. I have one and it's more than big enough for a days riding bits and bobs

It's the actual locking ring I don't know if it fits? I've seen nice bags from Oxford and Yamaha. Most sites won't show for older bikes.

Ah ... that's an SW Motech system - resold by Yamaha.
Try this, its just the basic ring you could get in touch with them to see if it fits. Take the fuel tank filler off (It's 3 bolts at 12, 7 and 5 oclock) scan it as a pdf and send it to them ....
