RRSP shock.

Just trying to take the rear shock apart as spring needs powder coating.Any tips would be appreciated.Cheers.Image

I sent one away to be rebuilt once, they said they couldn't find a bump stop and there wasn't anybody that made them with that dia rod, so it wasn't worth rebuilding. This was a fair few years ago now and I just bought a new shock.

Thanks evil.Got it for 17 quid off ebay and all works fine Just gonna paint the spring and it makes the bike 100 % original if Iwant to sell it. Got the spring off now by taking the 2 collars out that sit at the bottom. Cheers.

No mate, didn't see that one. Mine was a grand , but needed a lot of work . I guess UK ones are worth a bit more but at the end of the day things are only worth what people are willing to spend on them. Finally looking forward to riding mine, just waiting for the tank to come back from the painters.
