Rescued NC21...what do I need?
Hello everyone, this community is great and it’s a real privilege to be here. Hopefully I’m not gonna make too much of an arse of myself!!
In summary, I’ve managed to rescue an NC21 that belonged to my uncle and was destined for scrap. The bike was in a number of pieces but I’ve got most of it back together.
The bike’s fuel tank was off the bike, and my uncle says that he’s lost a few bits, so I was hoping perhaps someone here could point me in the right direction for what I might need.
I have the fuel tank (with cap in tact), and the knob that twists to select on/off/reserve, but that’s it. I don’t have any hose (and there’s nothing attached to the bike still) that runs from the tank to the engine, it’s literally just the fuel tank and knob with nothing else.
Could someone point me in the direction of what I’ll need and where I might be able to get them from?
Otherwise, the bike is great; electrics tested ok and with a new battery, the starter motor turns nicely! It just needs fuel to go
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Any fuel hose that is the corrrect size will do.. theres a large hose that goes from the nc21 tap to the carbs and another small vaccum hose that goes from the taps vaccum port to the engine.
as above.. a cmsnl microfiche will help you out visualy.
forum member Rick Oliver carries various hoses.. the nc21/24 fuel hose is larger than the nc30 hose so he might not have that size in stock, best to check with him.

Halfords usually have a good selection of fuel hose in various sizes. And if the bikes been sat you may want/need to give the carbs a rebuild. And maybe change the oil too, just cheap mineral oil will to until you get it finished.
Good luck.

a lot of parts are nla these days but part number usually gives a description ie bore and length of pipe so as said above halfords might be worth a visit
