I have not seen a 3EN2 race seat for sale/specifically produced in 4+ years of watching.

However if you look at the pics in this auction you may see how the std unit can be converted.

It looks a reasonable job.

You can fit the YZF R1 taillight as plug/play to the 3EN2 subframe which sort of goes better with the twin front round headlamps.

If its for racing then maybe theres a 600 3he unit out there.

I quite like the 3en2 rear light, stick a bit tape / sticker material in the middle t divide the two "lamps" and it improves it.

I bought a single seat unit described as to fit a 3EN2 years ago.
It turned out to be a 3HE unit.

It would fit a 3EN1 from what I can see.

It is nowhere near a fit for a 3EN2

The riders seats and all mounts are much different.

Anyone wanting a one piece single seat 3EN2 unit is going to have to make one.......or get one in the kits from China modified by the seller.

Chinese will do an unpainted 3en2 race seat unit shipped to the UK for $170 (about £108) tempting.

Has anyone fitted one of these Chinese race seats to their 3en2?

If so was a good fit?

What was the quality like?

I intend to use the single seat on a road bike, so yes it does matter.

I guess it will depend on how the race seat works with the standard subframe and undertray. The rear panels come up under the riders saddle and link into the tank and I don't remember any external screws so not sure how you bolt it on and keep it looking clean (not bolt heads).
Don't suppose you could make a pillion seat cover it would be a lot easier.
