Hi Guys. Has anyone re-packed an original silencer before? :?:

Can't see it would be that difficult apart from getting a match for the rivets, the originals are a large head size.

You could sent it off to somewhere like PJ Engineering who would do it.

Ok then ...
Drill out the rivets, use a big dia drill bit ... You'll need to measure the size of the rivet hole and replace them with sealed rivets.
Wear heavy gloves.
Clean it with a wire brush.
Put stainless steel wool around the pipes inside then put the wadding in - you can get some that's preshrunk and expands when the pipe gets hot ... Kayla Projection Components sells it.
Rivet it back up
