Sounds like a great idea.
Don't let people put you off, if you fancy a go then get on it, only thing I will say is its expensive and a steep learning curve.
Iv made and am making parts for my bike but am very luck I'm that I live a couple of miles away from the guys at carbon mods, if you fancy trying I have to say they are the most up for it, helpful, willing to show you people ive ever met.
If you can go up and talk your project through, Paul will give you all the help he can, he's one of those rare people that starts to grin when you tell him your plan and then starts throwing things at you and saying do this and do that.
Give it a go man!
