removing black from tyga yoke

I have a tyga top yoke and want to polish it.but whats the best way of removin the black anodizing?(i think its anodized?)or if you have a silver/polished one swapsie maybe!!.thanks

Caustic soda (drain cleaner) is an excellent cheap anodizing remover on ally.
Keep an eye on the solution and remove the part before the surface discolours. (discoloration just rubs off)

The cheap oven cleaner spray that you can find in the pound shops also works a treat. I usually put the part in a plastic bag and spray some cleaner in. Keep checking it every fifteen minutes or so.
