NC30 Intake rubber thingies

Post by Maelstrom »

Hi All,
I have had some enquiries about making these parts 16141-MR8-003. So I just wanted to ask if anyone is really interested. Rick sells the shorter HRC style items but he suggested to me that there might be some interest, so let me know what you think. Of course I have to find a new one or one in very good condition to take a mould off.
cheers
Blair

One of my Japanese customers has sourced a NOS item so this may go ahead.

They are commonly called velocity stacks.

This seller has a couple of them forsale at 2800 yen each. He calls them Carb Manifolds.

I believe honda call them Air funnels.

Good hunting skills Mr Neo.
I was just being flippant with the "thingies" because, as you noted, everyone seems to call them something different.

Just got the sample. Looks the same as the original and since the mould is made by 3D scanning and CNC machined one would expect so. Will have them available for sale in about 3 weeks.

Update: I will keep a limited number of these in stock and they are now made from Flourosilicone.
