Re: Rvf tuning
Standard is 1.5 turns out on the '35 IIRC. No need to change the PS from the standard setting.indy-joe wrote: I noticed that the mixtures were way out as well like 1.5turns and 2 and just all over the place. I went to 2.5 turns on the mixtures.
Think it might be the mixtures, gonna go .25 of a turn less.

Re: Rvf tuning
I recently have been looking for a setup for my rvf with HRC cdi, Standard airbox, Mercury full system. Took the advice of peeps on this site and bought a set of keyster 115's and 112.5's. Did order keihins but this is what i got through the post. Have been assured that keihin and keyster are the same. I tried the 115's which are slightly longer and had a bit of a flatspot between 5 and 6 thou, but it would take off after this like it never did before. Came home and looked for some 0.5 shims and luckily had 4 from several burnt out motors from my rc racing days. Fitted them under the standard washers of the needles and it now pulls nicely throughtout the rev range. Very Tiny flatspot but hardly noticeable. Am sure the standard PS setting is 1 and 5/8 turns out on the rvf.

Re: Rvf tuning
NC30's and NC35's have a 0.5mm washer as standard, what you want is to increase this to a total of 1.0mm if you wish to raise them by 0.5mm.indy-joe wrote: I then checked the kneedles to see of they had been shimmed. They had been with a .5mm washer. So I decided to try a .8mm washer which is all I had.
Your setup is raised 0.3mm over standard.
